Brake Controller Connector Location on 2019 Cadillac Escalade

Question:

I can’t find where the wire harness plugs into on my 2019 Escalade...trying to install one of your electric brake controllers I have looked everywhere under dash...by foot pedals as well under the hood

On a 2019 Escalade, the plug you're looking for is in a junction box on the firewall to the left of the brake pedal. The junction box has a black cover, which will need to be removed and the # 3016 harness you'd looked at will plug into the socket shown in the provided photo. The top photo shows the location of the junction box, the bottom photo shows what the Junction box looks like with the cover removed and the exact location where the harness plugs in.

The # 3016 is the harness you'd need for a Draw-Tite or Tekonsha Brake Controller like the P3, part # 90195. The P3 is one of my favorites due to it's user friendly display and controls.
