Will the Thule compass kayak carrier work with my GMC factory style roof rack crossbars? I have a 2017

The Thule Compass Kayak and SUP Carrier # TH890000 is designed to fit round, square, aero, elliptical, and most factory crossbars. According to Thule, as long as you have the factory installed crossbar going side to side on your roof then this will work just fine. This kayak carrier has a weight of 130lbs.
If you only have the factory rails going front to back on your 2017 GMC Acadia then you will need to install a crossbar first. For a crossbar I recommend Thule Wing Bar Evo 118 Aluminum Cross Bars - 47" Long # TH711200 with Evo Raised Rail Feet # TH710401.
