Question:

HI-, I have two tandem kayaks old town twin heron and one solo. Can you recommend the best accessories if needed to tie them to this trailer? I have a 2019 Honda Odyssey, which options do I have for trailer hitch? Thank you!

For a fairly economical way to transport your three kayaks on the # Y08107 Rack and Roll trailer, I'd recommend going with the Malone FoldAway # MAL38FR for two kayaks and the # MAL98FR for the third.

I looked up your kayaks, and found that Old Town lists the weight of the solo as being about 40 lbs with a length of 9-1/2 feet and the tandems as being 60 lbs each with a length of 13-1/2 feet. The kayaks sizes and weights would be compatible with both the Rack and Roll trailer and the carriers I recommended. The carriers include the load straps for attaching the kayaks to the carrier as well as the bow/stern tie downs.

For a trailer hitch for your 2019 Honda Odyssey, I'd recommend a mostly concealed hitch like the Curt Class III, part # C64NR. When installed, the only portion of the hitch that would be visible is the receiver tube and the safety chain loops, the crossbar will be concealed behind the bumper fascia. Many folks prefer this to a hitch like the Curt # C13370, which would be completely exposed.

You'll also need a wiring harness like # 118781, a # C45010 ball mount and a # 63845 trailer ball.
