Question:
Which hidden hitch for a 2020 Subaru Forester sport do you recommend? I am looking at the curt hidden cross bar and also the echo hitch. What’s the pros and cons for both? I ordered the curt to find out it’s out of stock and won’t get it until June.

While both hitches look and install very similarly, I recommend the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch # 306-X7391 for your 2020 Subaru Forester over the Curt Hidden Hitch # C47HR.
Both have the same towing weight capacity of 3,500 lbs, but EcoHitch outperforms with a tongue weight capacity of 525 lbs compared to Curt's 350 lbs capacity. That means with the EcoHitch, you can carry heavier accessories like bike racks or cargo carriers.
EcoHitch is also known for their unique hitches where they have a greater capacity or are the only 2" option for cars that traditionally can only carry smaller 1-1/4: Class I hitches. Along with its powder coat finish which, I've learned the hard way, is usually more scratch resistant compared to glossy finish, it is an all-around solid choice.
The only con to EcoHitch is that they are more expensive than Curt or Draw-Tite.That's because they are made of recycled materials and again have more weight capacity, which I believe justifies the cost.
