Question:
Im looking for a replacement trailer hitch receiver for my 2007 Chevy classic Silverado 3500 crew cab 8ft bed. When I search for one, the vehicle changes from the 3500 to 1500

For a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado CLASSIC, there is a "Select Vehicle Style" drop-down menu where you can select "3500 - Pickup" or "3500 Pickup w/ 10" DeepDrop bumper"
If you have the DeepDrop bumper then you can use the B&W # BWHDRH25187 hitch with 2" receiver opening, and a tow rating of 16,000 pounds. If you need a wiring harness, and your truck has been pre-wired at the factory, you can use the Tekonsha # 118384 wiring adapter for 4-pole connector.
If you have the standard bumper then the Curt # C15703 hitch with 2-1/2" receiver Class-5 commercial duty would work well.
If you don't need the commercial towing ability you could consider the Curt # C13008 hitch with 2" receiver and a 6000 pound towing capacity.
