Question:
Brake Controller Questions 2019 Pathfinder: I had Nissan dealer install a factory tow package, 7 way plug in rear. They sold me a 24167-75000 Tow Brake Jumper Sub-Harness for use with any brake controller Im not so sure about that. Im interested in your RED44FR, which seems to have a pigtail on it. Do I need the 24167-75000 with the RED44FR? Are there any other parts required? Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller part # RED44FR is a great option for a 2019 Nissan Pathfinder. If you already have the factory brake controller pigtail it would just simply hardwire into the included harness. You'd be attaching four wires to one another. If you want a complete plug-in-play then you could get the Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness for Redarc part # RED39FR and just not use the factory one.
