1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Today we're gonna take a look at this Kenda Loadstar 205/65 by 10 bias tire in a load range C and it's mounted on this 10 inch black aluminum wheel with a four on four inch bolt pattern. Now this tire wheel summary's ideal for trailers and golf carts. The tire on it is a Kenda Loadstar tire, gives you excellent handling. It is a bias construction so it does provide superior stability and they do use a modern tread design to reduce rolling resistance for a nice smooth ride. Now this bias tire's great for off road and agricultural use and it'll even provide a nice smooth ride and improve handling when trailering on uneven surfaces.
We mentioned the tire size, which will be stamped on the sidewall right here, 205/65-10. Now also right under it, they do even list the old size that this says newer size is replaced. The older size tire is the 20.5 by 8 by 10, so this new 205/65-10 is the replacement for that older tire size Section width on this is 8.3 inches. Overall diameter when it's inflated 20.5 inches. We mentioned it is a load range C, which means it's a six ply rated tire, has a maximum load capacity of 1,100 pounds at 50 PSI.
And it does have a speed rating and they do stamp that on the sidewall, right after the tire size we went over. You'll see a number for a load range or a number for a load index and then they stamp a letter M. Speed rating is always stamped in letter designations and a speed rating M will mean this has an 81 mile per hour speed rating. The wheel it's mounted on, it's a black aluminum AMO2 series wheel. You can see it has a nice machined face and lip and it is durable, lightweight and rust proof.
It has a nice clear coat finish on the front and even on the back to help protect from scuffs and scratches. And the nice thing about this, one of the nice features I like on this wheel is they put steel inserts right in here in the lug nut wells. They're pressed in there and that's designed to help keep the wheel securely in place on your hub. Prevents the holes, when you put your lug nuts on and tighten 'em down, prevents those holes from wearing down over time. Eliminates the need for constant re-tightening of the lug nuts.
Now this tire and wheel assembly does meet the Department of Transportation specification. The wheel itself, the diameter is 10 inches. The width on just the wheel is six inches wide. The wheel does have a bolt pattern of four on four inches. And if you wanna measure that on a wheel that's an even number of lugs, like in this case four, it's pretty easy 'cause the lug holes are directly across from each other. So the way you'd measure it is you measure from the center of one hole to the center of the hole right across from it. On this one it'll measure four inches, so it's a four lug, four inch bolt pattern. Wheel lug size that's used is a 1/2 inch by 20, pilot hole diameter, which is the large hole here in the center, it's 2 1/2 inches. And the weight capacity on just the wheel by itself is 1,500 pounds. But that should do it for a look at this Kenda Loadstar 205/65 by 10 bias tire in a load range C mounted on this 10 inch black aluminum wheel.

Easy swap from OEM galvanized wheels. Extra points for this wheel being designed so it sits properly in place once slid on the lugs. No need to keep pushing it back while tightening each nut down.
