I need to replace the coupler unit on my boat trailer. It currently has an Atwood 85778 with manual lock-out. What do you recommend for replacement? Thank you,

The best replacement option we offer for an Atwood Surge Brake Actuator 85778 is the Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator part # DM62VR. It has the same ball size, offers a bolt-on install, and has a greater capacity. The only difference is it has an electric lockout as opposed to a manual one which aren't really used anymore. Therefore, you'll have to get setup with a 5-way for the trailer and truck. This can be done using part # HM37918 and part # C57187.
