Solution for Converting Discontinued Atwood Hydraulic Surge Brake Coupler From Drum to Disc

Question:

Hi I have an Atwood 85778 surge brake coupler that is working fine. However it is or drum brakes and I am converting to disc. Do you have a disc brake master cylinder that will fit? P/n and price please

Atwood is no longer around and parts for the Atwood 85778 are no longer available. Since there are no replacement options for the master cylinder your only choice is to replace the coupler with a new one.

I recommend the Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator w/ Electric Lockout # DM62VR. This is designed for disc brakes and comes with an electric lockout. It also uses the EZ-Latch coupler which allows you to hook up while the latch is in the closed position.
