Recommended Spare Tire Carrier for 15 Spare Tire on R-Pod 182G

Question:
I would like to install a spare tire carrier on my 2017 Forest River R-Pod 182g. It looks like the tongue is the best place. Can you confirm that? And which bracket would hold the 15 tires that come with the 2017 R-pod? I watched a review of one for tires up to 14, but they put bigger tires on in 2017. Thanks, learning a lot from your site!

Looking at the setup of a 2017 Forest River R-Pod 182G, you won't be able to put anything on the rear of the trailer so your only real option is going to be on the trailer A-frame. I recommend using the Extra Offset Trailer Spare Tire Carrier by Dutton-Lainson # DL22145, because it can handle your 15" wheels and will fit on a variety of trailer frame sizes. You will want to confirm that your trailer's frame is no taller than 5" and thicker than 3" to ensure this will fit.
