The MaxxAir II Vent Cover lets you open and run your roof vent even when it’s pouring rain. Its angled louvers let smoke, heat, and odors escape while blocking rainwater and debris from getting inside. You can keep your vent fan running to clear the air or cool things down without worrying about weather changes.
This cover moves air better than most. The vent area is twice the size of standard covers, so more air gets in and out. The side vents also create cross-ventilation that helps push out heat buildup and stale air fast. Whether you’re cooking, showering, or cooling off your space, you get solid airflow without having to remove the cover.
Made from durable, high-density polyethylene, the MaxxAir II is built to last. It’s UV-resistant, so it won’t crack or fade from long days in the sun. The sturdy shell shields your vent from hail, falling branches, and road debris, keeping your roof vent safe through years of travel and weather exposure.
Four EZClip pins hold the cover in place and act like a hinge when you pop one side free. That means you can easily open or remove the cover to clean the vent or check the sealant underneath. When you’re done, slide the pins back in and lock them tight—no tools needed.
If your vent has molded mounting tabs, this cover installs with no drilling at all. Just slide the EZClip pins through the tabs and lock them in place. For older MaxxFan models or other standard 14" x 14" roof vents, the included brackets and stainless-steel hardware make it easy to bolt on securely. The translucent white finish blends in cleanly on the roof and still lets in light.

Easily connected to the max air fan. The white does let a lot of light through in the morning, I could see the black being better for less light it that’s a concern

I have been very pleased with the MaxxAir II vent covers. Recently we endured a heavy rainstorm. 3.25 inches in a 24 hour period. Not a of water entered our trailer with the vents open.
I recently purchased the MaxxAir fan and this cover took all of 5 miniutes to install. Fit perfect looks great.
Obviously will support great air flow by design, and since I already had a MazzAir fan, installation was super easy

I mounted this cover over a roof vent on a newly acquired cargo trailer. The trailer will be motorcycle storage during the summer off season in Florida.
Instructions included made for the installation relatively simple requiring drilling a few holes and connecting the clips.
These do NOT come with screen on the inside ! The exact ones from 4 yrs ago installed on my rv vents have screens . When you open your vents for fresh air the vent covers will allow bugs to fly in your vent screens . Only way to clean them out is to take all the trim and screens apart . Terribly made had to silicon screen material to the inside . Someone from etrailer Tell Maxair there not like the old ones !
Product arrived quickly. Cover seems well built. Installation on our Brinkley I280 was a breeze.
Well engineer. It installed very nicely with no issues. I just purchased a 2027 Brinkley 3100 and the roof vents had pre installed attached points for the vent cover and that made the insulation a breeze.
Love the clips for mounting as my fans have the frame with the tabs built in. The only negative is that the Max Air lids do hit the covers slightly when raised, but don’t seem to affect fan functionality.

The new cover looks great Don! One of these days they will come up with a cover where a lid can fully open, tends to be the case with all the covers. I hope you have a wonderful Holiday Season filled with all your favorite people =)
I was disappointed that the new cover didn't come with a bug screen like the Maxair 2 I am replacing. I also found that it was not a one for one replacement. This cover is narrower so all the mounting brackets will need to be replaced.
Installed 4 MaxxAir II on my RV with ventline roof vents (2 powered and 2 non powered) and installation was a breeze. Would recommend to anyone needing a roof cover with more protection.
I ordered two MaxxAir covers. Both covers shipped great in the same box but I only received 7 easy clips. The package holding the various clips had ripped open.
The item arrived in a timely manner. I don't thing the plastic is as heavy as I had found on previous/original MaxxAir hoods. Fortunately, flexible enough that I could get it installed when the factory installed solar panel is a little too close to the vent.
I needed a cover for my new Furrion RV Roof Vent FR54ZD. Furrion couldn't tell me what cover fit, but this one does as it states on this page. It just drops onto the existing standoffs (you may need to slightly bend the base to align), then put the clips in and done!
Excellent product! Perfect fit for my MaxxAir fans, and mounted easily with no tools using the EZClip feature.

I did order a black unit to block more light. Nothing wrong with the white unit, just lets a lot of light in
