I am looking for a tool box that will be compatible with your Thule TracRac SR TH43002XT-782 sliding ladder rack, any thoughts?

Thule offers a mount for crossover style tool boxes as part # TH25200 which will allow you to mount a toolbox to the top of the SR sliding rails.
For a short bed 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500, I'd recommend the 12 cubic foot capacity # DZ8170DB from DeeZee in black or # DZ8170D in silver.
Along with the mount kit, the large DeeZee Red Label truck toolbox would work great for you.
