Hello, I have a 1013 chevy silverado 3500 with 8ft bed. Im looking to add the heaviest duty ladder rack with applicable tonneau. Please let me know which products are compatible. Im interested in the thule tracrac sr, which tonneau covers are reccomended? Looking for roll up or manual retractable most economic cover Please let me know what is reccomended

Hi Robert; the Thule TracRac SR # TH43002XT-000 or # TH43002XT-000EX is definitely the way to go if you're looking for a heavy duty ladder rack. This rack has a carrying capacity of 1,250 lbs which is higher than all the others. It also mounts to the top of the bed rails so you can install a tonneau cover with it.

The rails from retractable covers are going to run over the stake pockets where the ladder rack mounts so I would stick with a roll up cover. If you want a hard roll up cover I recommend the BAK Revolver X4s # BAK85VR. This has an aluminum and vinyl construction, secures with your tailgate lock, and comes with a limited 5-year warranty. If you're looking for the most economic overall then the Access TonnoSport # A22020299 will also work.
