Question:
Do you sell a disc brake kit for 10K General duty Dexter axles that were manufactured after 2009 with the 008-430-03 hub? Thanks in advance.

Expert Reply:
We do have a disc brake kit that is compatible with the Dexter Axle Oil Hub for 9,000-lb - 10,000-lb General Duty Axles # 008-430-03 and for Dexter general-duty axles manufactured after May 2013. This disc brake kit is for spring axles only (which just means it will not fit torsion axles), and is the following:
- Kodiak Disc Brake Kit - 11" Rotor - 8 on 6-1/2 - E-Coat Finish - Leaf Spring - 10,000 lb Dexter # K2R1058D11E
These are over-the-hub rotors with cast iron calipers for exceptional strength, and an e-coat for corrosion resistance. If you need hydraulic brakes lines as well you can choose from the right kit depending on how many axles your trailer is.
- Singe Axle: HydraStar Hydraulic Brake Line Kit - Single Axle # HS496-251
- Tandem Axle: HydraStar Hydraulic Brake Line Kit - Tandem Axle # HS496-252
- Triple Axle: HydraStar Hydraulic Brake Line Kit - Triple Axle # HS496-253
I have added links below to some video reviews for you to check out as well if you'd like.
