I have a solution for you, but there are two issues here; the Curt Q-25 # C97FR is designed to fit in the OEM prep package for Chevy/GMC trucks and typically a non-sliding hitch is only recommended for trucks with 8 foot long beds. If you've determined that your trailer is configured in such a manner that it won't contact the cab of the trailer when making turns and you've got an OEM prep package you can use the # C97FR.

However, you've indicated that you don't have the OEM prep package in your truck so you will need a hitch that fits into industry standard above bed rails. For that I recommend using the Curt Q-25 with R-20 slider hitch # C16566, which will require base rails like the # C16429-204, which are a custom installation base rail kit that will reduce the drilling required for installation. This will give you a really nice sliding hitch that will work well in your truck. If you don't need the slider base and just want a standard hitch then the Curt Q-25 # C16265 is a great choice. This will fit in the same rail kit # C16429-204.
