Converting a B&W Companion to Fit in a 2023 GMC Sierra w/ OEM Prep Package

I have a 2018 Chevy 2500HD with a fifth wheel puck system. Will a B&W Companion from a 2018 truck fit a 2023 Sierra 2500? Thanks.

In 2020 GM changed their trucks by adding 6" in length to the cab and 6" in height. This pushed everything back on the frame so the puck system for your 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD is going to be different than the one in a 2023 GMC Sierra 2500.
In order to use your B&W Companion item # BWRVK3700 in your 2023 GMC Sierra you will need the Replacement Base for B&W Companion item # BWRVB3710. Swapping out the base will allow you to use your Companion hitch in the new puck pattern. It will have the same 20,000 lbs capacity.
