Question:

Hello, I need a locking knob and lock cylinder and key for an old Thule hitch mounted bike rack. I am pretty sure it is a Helium Aero 3. The knob fell off or was broken off to try to steal the rack. The bolt, spring, and all other hardware is there. Just need the lock knob and cylinder replacements. I saw the options below - will this knob work? If so, which lock cylinder goes with it? If not, can you direct me to what I need? Thank you! I called my friend over at Thule and they said they do not have the replacement knob available separately. The Replacement Knob for the Thule Apex # TH79JV is a different part number with only the Thule Apex and the Thule Raceway as confirmed fit. Since the Thule Helium Aero 3 was phased out, support for replacement parts is limited.

If you are able to find the correct replacement knob someway somehow, then the Replacement Lock Cylinder and Premium Key # 1500004217 is the correct replacement lock core.
