Electric or Hand Winch Recommended for Loading Cart on Car Trailer
Published 10/09/2015 >
Question:
I want to pull a donkey cart on to a car trailer which has ramps on a regular basis. Once a day for a couple of months.its to heavy to put on trailer by hand. Would you get an electric winch or hand winch? Thanks

Since the cart is too heavy to load by hand, I recommend using an electric winch. A winch with a brake, like the Dutton-Lainson StrongArm Electric Winch with Remote # DL25001, will help in stopping your load safely and ensuring the reel locks once the load is in place.
The right winch for you will depend on the weight of the cargo you are loading. I have attached a help article on electric winches for you, as well as a link to all of our electric winches.
