What would you recommend for this vehicle? Im considering the KS3891-2, which has the ratchet system to snug the mirrors up. Any downsides to this, such as be careful not to over tighten. Also, considering the KS69ZR with clips and straps. Which one would you recommend and why?

When choosing between the K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors part # KS3891-2 and the K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors part # KS69ZR I recommend using part # KS3891-2. I prefer these during installation. With this option it is easy to get them installed then you tighten them down. With part # KS69ZR you need to tension them stretch the strap which can take a couple on tries to get the tension correct.
There is no real danger of overtightening the straps with the ratchets. They get very secure and noticeably stable well before there is any risk of damaging the mirrors. With either option be sure to clean your mirror housing before installing them.
