Why Wont the Curt Hitch Fit a 2020 Toyota Highlander with 20 Spare Tire

The hitches you offer for a 2020 Toyota Highlander indicate they will not accomodate a 20 spare tire. I do not quite understand, as even an 18 spare would have the same outside diameter. Only the wheels rims differ in diameter, not the overall wheel/tire diameter. Or, possibly the 20 tire/wheel is a bit more in height than the 18 tire/wheel? If you could please elaborate. Thanks!

The depth of the 20" spare prevents all of our hitches from fitting with the spare under the vehicle.
