I added a cut out showing a number of dimensions, including the distance from the hitch pin hole to the back of the shank of the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 2-Bike Rack - 2" Hitches # SH22G.
As you can see from the cut out, the distance from the hitch pin hole to the end of the shank is 1-5/8 inches, so that's all the space you need in your hitch receiver.
The Sherpa 2.0 is a great choice as it offers a superb combination of function and style. It is easy to use with a knob that tightens the rack in the hitch, and even comes with a hitch lock and cable lock to protect the investments you made in the rack and your bikes.
I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out as well if you like of the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 2-Bike Rack # SH22G.
