Will the OutPace 2 Bike Carrier fit a 2018 Honda Pilot? I read a comment regarding not folding up empty on a Mitsubishi. Will it fold up on the Pilot?

When we installed our etrailer hitch # e98840 on a 2018 Honda Pilot, we found the center of the pin hole sat 4-1/2" back from the bumper. You will of course want to measure this on the hitch you have already as it may be different, but if you get something like this measurement, I don't think the Thule OutPace Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # TH39SA is going to be the best choice for you. The OutPace measured 4-1/4" at the closest part of rack when folded up, so definitely check your hitch.
If that rack isn't going to work for you, I think the better option for you will be the Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # HLY94FR. This has 10" of clearance when measured from the center of the pin hole to the closest edge of the rack. It does have quite a bit less capacity per bike though (35 pounds per bike for this and 55 pounds per bike for the OutPace). It is quite a bit less expensive too.
