Already have gear you trust? This base plate works with all Demco, etrailer, and Blue Ox tow bars without an adapter. It’s also adaptable for Roadmaster tow bars with separately sold adapters (e98983, e99037). An included electrical bracket lets you mount a round connector plug neatly up front so your wiring stays organized and ready to go.
You don’t need a shop for this installation. The kit bolts securely to existing mounting points and includes all necessary hardware plus step-by-step instructions. Seems to be working well. Since installing it I do wonder about all the squeaks and rattles engendered. I especially wonder if the AC hard line that is close to the installation is one of the things rattling. I guess I should have put some rubber around it.
