Updated 10/30/2025 | Published 02/17/2025

Question:

I own a 2024 jeep wrangler with factory steel number and winch. I want to flat tow the vehicle with my 2016 Forest River Class A motorhome. Im looking for all of the parts I need for a roadmaster nighthawk setup with the invisibrake system. My jeep has park assist so I want to make sure I have all of the necessary accessories for installation. Can you provide me with a complete list of the products I need? Thank you

Hey Joe! I would be happy to provide you with a complete list of parts needed to flat tow your 2024 Jeep Wrangler. You will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, wiring, and a supplemental brake system. For a complete setup with the Nighthawk and Invisibrake you need the following:

-Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM35GR (for factory steel bumper with factory Warn winch)

-Roadmaster Nighthawk All-Terrain Tow Bar w/ LED Lights # RM-676 (includes safety cables)

-Roadmaster Accessory Kit for Nighthawk and Sterling Tow Bars # RM-9284-2 (comes with cover, locks, and completes wiring)

-Roadmaster Smart Diodes for Variable Voltage LED Tail Lights # RO54FR (since you have ParkSense)

-Roadmaster InvisiBrake Flat Tow Brake System # RM-8700

-Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751490

The only other thing you may need is a high-low adapter to keep your setup level. I went ahead and attached a help article which explains how to measure and choose the right adapter. If you have any other questions don't hesitate to reach out in the comments below.

Hey Joe, how did your flat tow setup for the Wrangler turn out with the Nighthawk and Invisibrake system? Did the parts list cover everything you needed for the ParkSense wiring and level setup? Your update could make it easier for the next person towing a similar Jeep.
