Where Is The Trailer Brake Connector Plug On 2021 TRD Off Road Tacoma?

Question:

Took the driver side plastic kick plate off but dont see the trailer brake connector plug ?? did they change the location on the 2021 Tacomas?

Sometimes it's hard to find the wiring as they are sometimes taped up and out of the way. I've included a picture of the instructions to help you find the right spot. The connector should be on the back side of the vehicle harness. That's probably why you aren't seeing it. I've found that they are pretty neatly tucked behind the wires so it takes some looking to find it. When you do find it, you can use this adapter # C51455 for your brake controller.
