Troubleshooting MaxxFan that Opens and Closes on Its Own

Question:

I turned my fan off yesterday but left the vent open , I came back into the van and the fan was running by itself not on auto mode . Now it’s been opening and closing uncontrollably by itself , it will open start to raise the lid and then closes . Now it won’t respond via the keypad or remote and it’s been beeping constantly now for about 24 hours and is driving me insane ,

If you have the MaxxFan part # MA00-04000K you need the replacement circuit board part # MA10A21276K as yours is damaged which is what's causing the strange behavior of yours.
