To add brakes to your Karavan Boat trailer # US-2450-74-ST-GL you would need the following items:

1. Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 10" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 3,500 lbs
Item # AKEBRK-35-SA
2. etrailer Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 3,500-lb E-Z Lube Axles # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K. This hub and drum assembly is a complete kit with the bearing included. It has been confirmed through Karavan that inner bearing L68149 and outer bearing L44649 are compatible.
3. Mounting Hardware for 10" Brake Assemblies Item # BRKH10B

For the wiring I recommend the following:

1. Trailer Wiring 7-Way Upgrade Kit w/ Junction Box and RV Style Connector Item # HS381-9000. This junction box makes it much easier later down the road if you have to fix any wiring. Just make sure when you mount the junction box you add a small piece of wire from the grounding post in the box directly to the frame rail. All other wires are connected to the appropriate post in the box with ring terminals to include the factory trailer light wiring.
2. Deka Heat Shrink Butt Connector - 12-10 Gauge - Nylon Insulation - Yellow - Qty 5 Item # DW05745-5
3. 8 of the Ring Terminal - 12-10 Gauge Wire - 3/16" Ring ID Item # 44-5310A
4. Jacketed 2 Wire (Brake Wire) - 12 Gauge - per Foot Item # 12-2-1. To connect your wiring from your brakes you simply start from the furthest brake assembly and connect the power and ground wire from the brake assembly to the end of the jacket wire accordingly. Route the jacketed wire across the axle to the opposite brake assembly, cut the wire to length and strip the ends. Take the ground wire from the brake assembly and the ground wire from the jacketed wire, twist together and connect into one end of a heat shrink butt connector. Repeat for the power wires. Take the ground wire and power wire from the remaining jacketed wire and attach them into the other end of the heat shrink butt connectors accordingly. Route the jacketed power and ground wire from the butt connectors up to the junction box, cut to length, add a ring terminal on each end. Attach the ground to the grounding post and the power to blue wire post in the box. The blue wire is your brake signal coming from the tow vehicle to apply the brakes on the trailer.
Take your factory four pole plug, currently providing the light functions to the trailer, cut to length, add a ring terminal on each wire and connect to the appropriate post in the junction box.

The jacketed wire is sold by the foot so once you measure the length you need to connect both brake assemblies together and then up to the junction box, add an extra foot or so.
