We have a 2020 Santa Fe, and want to make sure that this hitch will stick out far enough to support the 1-UP bike rack, that when its folded upright that its going to be past the rear bumper and not rub against anything.

The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98843 for your 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe has a measurement of 5inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the most outward part of the rear bumper. I attached a diagram showing that measurement and an installation video of the etrailer # e98843 on a 2020 Santa Fe for you to take a look at.

To ensure that your 1-Up bike rack will fold up properly you will need to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the bike rack. As long as that measurement is more than 5inches you will have enough clearance to not have any rubbing on your rear bumper.
