To install a custom vehicle wiring harness like the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # HM11143875 onto your 2003 Subaru Baja you will need to located the 6 pin connector that is located underneath the passenger side rear of the vehicle, near the vehicle vapor canister.
A few reviews did mention that there is a cap on the connector on the vehicle that will need to be removed prior to installing the wiring harness connector.
I attached the video review of the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness # HM11143875 for you.
I reached out to Hopkins directly and if you can send a picture of the cap that is stuck on the vehicles connector, they will be able to take a look and give some tips and tricks to get it off.
