Give your trailer a rugged, classic look with this Jeep-style fender. The squared-off shape offers plenty of coverage and rustproof aluminum keeps your trailer looking sharp on every adventure.
When replacing your trailer fender, do your best to match the dimensions of the new fender to your old one. If your fender was damaged in a blowout, you can use the opposite fender to get the right measurements. Before you get started, always chock your wheels for safety. If you are installing a bolt-on fender, use your existing mounting hardware if possible, but be prepared to replace any bolts or screws that are stripped or rusted. If you need to remove an old, welded-on fender, you can carefully chisel it off yourself or take your trailer to a weld shop for professional removal. Do not forget to prime and paint the new fender to prevent rust and match your trailer's finish. Before drilling any holes, position the fender exactly where you want it and center it over your wheel well, marking your spots carefully. Measure twice and drill once. Finally, wait to fully tighten down the mounting hardware until you are sure the fender is mounted just right.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at the CE Smith Diamond-Plated Jeep Style Aluminum Tandem Axle Trailer Fender. Now this Jeep style aluminum fender is going to cover two tires on the side of your tandem axle trailer, and this fender will obviously block road debris from hitting other vehicles, and it's gonna help protect the cargo in your trailer. And the overall length of this fender, that's gonna be measuring from end to end, is gonna be right at 65 inches long, and then the overall width is nine inches, and then the overall height is going to be right at about 15 inches tall overall. And so this does have that classic Jeep design with the diamond tread plating, so it's gonna really give you a tough, rugged look for your trailer, and let me go ahead and just give you kind of a lower closeup view here so you can see the ends.
And so this fender is obviously made of aluminum. (metal clanging) It's gonna give you that excellent long-term defense against rust and corrosion. It is obviously gonna be naturally rustproof unlike steel, which must be treated with a rust-resistant coating that can break down over time. So aluminum is going to be a lightweight, yet very durable solution, making this suitable for heavy-duty, outdoor, and salt water applications on your trailer. This is gonna be a bolt-on installation.
This will require drilling and the purchase of mounting brackets and hardware that's not included with this fender. Ultimately I’m disappointed in the product. I purchased this after blowing out a trailer tire which also took out the fender. After installation, which did go smoothly, I realized it’s the best looking thing on the trailer now. All the other diamond plate I have is old and weathered. I believe this to be some form of bait and switch. Now I’m forced to purchase another beautiful diamond plate fender for the other side, as well as rock guard for the front of the v-nose.
For shame.
P.S. Don’t tell my wife I’ll be buying more parts simply for aesthetics.
yes i remember it well. it was a good product made 50% thicker than the stock fender- HOWEVER it was unclear to me that new galvanized brackets were listed to be used with the replacement . I ordered them and did not need them at all. The return shipping was 20 dollars !!!! Yes still a bit upset over this
I needed a new fender and running light for my Wells Cargo cargo trailer after I had a tire blowout that ripped by right side fender off. The fender was basically a direct replacement. The running light was slightly different but installation was fairly simple. Shipping was super quick and the price was reasonable. I ordered these fenders because I had a blow out, & there was no fender left.They came on time & look great with lights on top of fenders. I had to modify inside the trailer wall with a sheet of 1/8" steal as to have something to mount the fender brackets too, once both sides were done, the trailer looks great & the lights are easier to see. thank you

I received The Fender today at 11AM and had it installed 1 hour later. It's a high quality fender and better than the OEM that fell off.
Great product. I believe these fenders are thicker than the ones I replaced. They were easy to mount by one person using two adjustable clamps. I used the clamps to hold from under the frame and the rear edge of the fender. This allowed me to screw the fenders in place. Very durable diamond plate and a nice upgrade to my missing and damaged fenders. I would purchase these again and recommend them. Quality product and great customer service. Thanks etrailer.com.
The trailer fender was just about the exact size and the brackets worked GREAT. I used the old holes with new 3 " carriage bolts 5/16 for the brackets CE26098G-2 and 1/4 to secure the bottom. I just bought the second fender to match because it works and looks great. Jim M
Good replacement fender. Make sure to do your own measurements to get the correct dimensions. Also, this does NOT come with pre-drilled holes for attaching to the trailer.

Very high-quality tandem axle fender. The aluminum was nice and thick and installed easily. We modified our trailer from a triple axle to a tandem axle trailer. These fenders were an excellent choice.
