Hitch Extender that Can Fit 2.5 inch Hitch of 2017 Ford F-250

I have a 2017 Ford F250 King Ranch Crew Cab with factory installed tow hitch. My question, when you mention the factory 3 in. hitch is this inside or outside measurement on the truck hitch ? The inside measurement on my truck is 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 and outside is 3 in. Will the Torklift Cannon Hitch extension slide into my factory hitch ? I have a Northern Light truck camper and would need a 48 in. length for towing aluminum trailer. Thanks for your help

The newer Ford Super Duty trucks than your 2017 Ford F-250 have an inside diameter of 3 inch by 3 inch which is bigger than your 2.5 by 2.5 inch hitch. While the Torklift Cannon Hitch Extension part # TLE1648 won't work as it's too big for your truck we have the Titan Extender part # RP45292 which fits your hitch size and can be used at 24-34 inches.
