Pin Box Replacemetn for Jayco Fifth Wheel with Leland AF 7921 Pin Box

Question:

I have a 2006 Jayco 27.5 BHS with a Leland AF 7921 king pin, I have a new RAM 2019 2500 shot bed with a BW patriot 18K slider, and Im looking to replace the king pin for better clearance. will the Lippert 1621HD work?

We do have a Sidewinder pin box that will replace the Leland 7921 you have on your 2006 Jayco with the part # ST400-5AS16K which is cushioned to improve ride quality. This will give you additional turning clearance and will allow you to not need to use the slider mechanism of your Patriot hitch.
