Will the electric brake controller work on a 2020 jeep Grand Cherokee. Im being told the Jeep does not have a conventional brake lamp switch to provide 12-volt activation signal. The Jeep has a potentiometer type brake switch that will not provide the needed input signal for a conventional brake controlled thank you

The great thing about your 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee is that it comes with brake controller pre-wiring so to install the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty part # RED24FR all you need is the install harness part # RED77FR and you'd be set.

I attached an install video for this harness and a similar Tow Pro brake controller on a similar Grand Cherokee as well.
