Can Curt Rockerball be Used with Weight Distribution System

Question:
So am I to understand that the Rockerball cannot be used with any weight distribution system? If one is using a 2 5/16inch ball theres a good chance one is using a WD system of some sort, no? I tow locally without the WD system but use it along with the sway bar for longer trips where I am doing extensive highway driving and have the trailer more loaded up. A ball/hitch that would be compatible with a WD system and dampen those olderfoot highway bumps out there would be great! If it cannot be used with any WD system then that disclaimer should be noted in the advertisement. Thanks!

I have a cushioned solution for your WD setup but you are correct the Curt Rockerball is not to be used with weight distribution systems according to Curt. The movement that the ball allows and the stresses of the WD system just don't allow the two to fit together and work.
Instead you can use the cushioned weight distribution shank part # GY54FR for a 2 inch hitch which the head of your weight distribution system can attach to. There isn't any other option to cushion a weight distribution setup.
