Question:

HI I am looking for a solution with finding a bike rack that wont damage the back of my 2019 Kia Niro LX because I lease the vehicle. I can barely fit my bike in the back. with the seats down and removing the front wheel. There has to be a better way. Can a service Hitch be installed ? for a bike rack. Or is here a bike rack that would work without damaging the wing on the top of the hatch? I hope you can help me.

For your leased 2019 Kia Niro the best option will be a trailer hitch mounted bike rack since the hitches that fit your vehicle like the Curt # C13329 do not require drilling. You will have to remove a heat shield but when you go to return the vehicle you'd just want to remove the hitch and reinstall the heat shield and they'll never know. That way you can use a hitch mounted bike rack like the # HR200Z which does not touch the vehicle's paint like trunk racks do.

The Trail Rider bike rack is very easy to load and unload since it's a platform rack and also is very stable so we recommend it highly.
