Upgrading 2004 F150 with Factory 4-Pole to 7-way and Brake Controller

Question:

need to find a wiring harness to replace existing harness for f-150 supercrew 4 plug. want to convert to 7 prong for trailer brakes. do not want to have to cut/splice wires. have plug in dash for brake controler.

The Tow Package Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector, part number, # 118247, will plug inline with your existing wiring harness and provide you with the necessary wiring and 7-way connector to install a brake controller. The fuses and relays needed to install the harness are included to make the necessary brake and auxiliary power functions functional. You can retain the 4-way trailer connector and plug the new harness inline with it or remove the 4-way harness if it is no longer needed.

If you need a brake controller the Tekonsha Brake Controller # 90885. You can install it using wiring Harness # 3035-P, an adapter that is specific to your truck. The P2 is very easy to use and provides smooth braking
