Will a 5th Wheel Hitch Install in a Truck with a Spray-On Bedliner
Published 10/05/2012 >
Question:
Is there any reason I should not have a spray-on bed liner installed before mounting the 5th-wheel hitch? Or, any reason a spray-on bed liner is a bad idea?

There is no problem installing a fifth wheel hitch if you have a spray-on bed liner as long as the bed liner is fully cured. If you are looking into adding a spray-on bed liner to your truck, then you will want to check with the installer regarding cure time and make sure it has fully cured before you install a fifth wheel hitch or bed rails.
We do not recommend installing a fifth wheel hitch on plastic bed liners because it will crush the bed liner when under a load and a plastic bed liner can move.
