I really like the K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors part # KS3990 you saw. There are no custom fit towing mirrors for the Outback so these as far as what I have seen hold the best and most solid. Generally I make installation and demo videos of the products and have handled a lot of these over the years. You will be happy.
