Question:

Hi I am looking for the longest bars for my roof rack to carry a kayak and 2 stacked SUPs. Also want to add the overhaul in the future as I have a retraxone xr cover. Is the Y00426 bars and y00146 baseline tower set you have my best option? Am I better off with 78inch HD bars? I have the LARGE sunroof also. Thanks in advance for your help.

In addition to the # Y00426 JetStream crossbars and the # Y28TR BaseLine towers, you'll also need the # Y06122 BaseLine fit kit.

If you wanted to go with the HD crossbars, the 78 inch long bars are part # Y01159 and you'd also need the SL adapter so the bars work with the BaseLine towers. The adapter is part # Y03541.

According to Yakima, the fact that you have a sunroof won't prevent the rack from being installed, but I recommend taking care before operating it as it can interfere with some bar mounted accessories which could damage it. I've linked to a photo of a Yakima BaseLine roof rack installed on a F150 with the large sunroof.
