Question:

I just bought the A anchor plates because I have yakima tracks installed on my truck cap and I needed them to install tie downs to rig something up for an upcoming trip. I found a pair of used skyline towers and landing pads that I was told came off a previous track system but I do not know which landing pad model they are. It looks like they may have the C anchor plates on them now. Would I be able to mount these landing pads to the A anchor plates and have it work?

We have exactly what you are looking for.

The Yakima A Anchor plates # Y8810074 you purchased are designed to work with the Yakima Landing Pad 1 # Y00221 which is not what is in the picture of the landing pads you purchased so you will need to purchase new landing pads.

You can definitely come up with your own tie down anchors, but there is an easy option that will fit your tracks. The Eye Bolts # Y01162 will fit perfectly as they have a mounting plate with the exact same dimensions as the A anchor plates so they will fit perfectly in your Yakima tracks.
