Question:

I looked, but could not find the shipping weight or the product weight of these two hitches. I dont need a 2inch box, and the CRV only has a 1,500 lb towing capacity. Please advise. Thanks

For your 2020 Honda CR-V, the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class II - 1-1/4" # 36597 has a shipping weight of 24 lbs and the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13397 has a shipping weight of 30 lbs.

Even with a towing capacity of 1,500 lbs. I still recommend using the 2 inch receiver because there are more accessory options and sometimes more cost efficient options using that receiver size. For instance the # 36051 is recommended for the 1-1/4 inch receiver which will use hitch ball # 19258. You can compare that with the 2 inch receiver ball mount # D-4, Hitch Pin and Clip, # PC3, with hitch ball # 63845.
