The best weight distribution set up for your 2020 Toyota 4Runner pulling a 2020 22 ft 3900lb trailer with a 500 lb tongue weight I recommend Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Round - 6,000 lbs GTW, 600 lbs TW Item # FA94-00-0600 because it comes with the shank, allows backing and is compatible with both surge brake systems and electric brake systems. It also provides a 1-5/8" maximum drop and a 6-3/8" maximum rise for added adjust ability on the shank. It does require a ball I recommend 2" Hitch Ball for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems - 8,000 lbs Item # EQ91-00-6080
