Where does this install on the 2021 Kia Seltos? Does it go in the taillight well or the inner side body panel?

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C89KR which is a fit for a 2020 Kia Seltos contains a converter box which will mount behind the taillights on the outside of the vehicle. The pigtail with green wire will then be run behind the bumper cover in front of the body panel to the other side.
