Recommended Hitch For 2021 Kia Seltos To Carry Bike Rack

Question:

I have a 2021 Kia Seltos that did not come with the kia lifestyle hitch upgrade. Can i add a hitch? its for a bike rack that was on my old kia with 1-1/4" shank. If there is a hitch available how is the install?

Yes, there is an aftermarket hitch available for the 2021 Kia Seltos with Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" part # C65FR. The installation process does not require any drilling into the frame of your Kia but it does require underbody trim to allow room for the hitch. I have attached a photo from the installation instructions of what that looks like. This hitch will only accept 1-1/4" accessories so you wan't to make sure your bike rack fits.
