What Trimming Is Required To Install Curt Hitch On 2021 Kia Seltos

Question:

What needs to be cut under the car and what is it making space for? It looks to me like you should easily be able to bolt the hitch under the car.

In regards to the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C65FR which is a fit for a 2021 Kia Seltos, there is indeed trimming of a small under body panel required. This under body panel is just a protective covering on the passenger side. If you don't want to trim you can leave this off but the process is very minor. It's hard to say but it seems as if the panel would interfere with the hitch body. I have attached a photo of the required trimming as well as the install instructions.
