What are the differences between these two hitches? Would you recommend one over the other?Hitch for 2018 Audi A4: Curt C11448 vs Draw-Tite DT24950

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # C11448 and the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # DT24950 are rated for the same capacities and attach in the same locations. I recommend the Draw-Tite above the Curt for this vehicle because the Curt class I hitches require a stabilization strap # 18050 for any bike carrier, cargo carrier, or other accessory under their warranty.

If you will be towing, I also recommend wiring harness # C59236.

Thanks for your reply Jason. Does Draw-Tite also have a stabilization strap that I should use as an added precaution for a bike rack?

You could certainly still use the Curt Stabilizing Strap # 18050 with the Draw-Tite hitch if you wanted, but it's just not a requirement like it is with the Curt hitch.
