I have a 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 short bed. What 5th wheel hitch do I need and what else would I need to install the hitch?

The Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # DM8550040 is the best option for a 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 (5.5' Bed and 6.5' Bed). The reason for this is because with a short bed truck you need a sliding hitch so the trailer does not hit the vehicle while making tight turns. Most sliding hitches requires you to get in and out of the truck each time to engage the slider but not the Hijacker as the sliding feature is automatic which is a huge added convince.
The Hijacker can then be installed with the Demco Hijacker Premier Series Above-Bed Install Kit part # DM8552034-71 which does not require any drilling into the frame. I'd also add the Demco 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness part # DM8555002 but that's it.
