Gets the job done! Has a little wobble where a higher end model probably wouldn’t. I generally put 1 or 2 bikes on it but it can handle three. The included rubber tie downs will not hold a bike on securely on the highway. This is extremely hazardous and could lead to deadly results in a traffic situation if your bike falls off. So I use additional tie downs and straps to properly secure the bikes.
One year after I purchased this hitch, the seller contacted me to make sure it was working well for me. That is 5 start customer service. The answer is, YES, the hitch works great for my bicycle carrier. I would purchase again.
First things first: This receiver checks all boxes as described by etrailer, and I could not be happier with the final product.
I am deducting 1 Star for an issue with installing the receiver. The instructions were detailed, simple to follow, and allowed for almost-seamless installation. Where I ran into a hiccup was when I had to install the nuts onto the bolts. Unfortunately, the receiver was about 1/4" too wide, resulting in a gap on the passenger side mounting area. This led to difficulty attaching the nuts onto the bolts, and unfortunately, a bolt falling into the tube frame of the vehicle.
Luckily, there exists the Internet. I was able to find instructions to remove the rear bumper and gain access to the open end of the tube frame. Retrieving and then installing the fallen bolt(s) proved tremendously easy once the bumper was out of the way.
In fact, I would argue that if you take this receiver to a body shop, and know that it will likely cost more in labor, instruct them to remove the rear bumper to install the receiver--as it is ten times easier.
You absolutely do not have to do this, and there may be a workaround to the 1/4" gap, but I was not so lucky.
I loved that etrailer provided the fish wire as well, even though I had assumed they would not provide it and purchased some for myself. Now I have backup at least! (Adding this in the "What's Included" section of the product may be helpful to others).
My last shortcoming was due to shipping. The shipping company damaged the product and box the receiver arrived in. Reading other reviews prior to purchase, it seems that I can spray paint the damaged areas with black rust-inhibiting paint. This is no fault of etrailer, and does not reflect their product or services (although more sturdy packaging could have avoided this...potentially).
All-in-all a 10 out of 10 product. I am excited to simply have the receiver, even if I do not have any immediate plans for it. I will include pictures below. I will be recommending etrailer products to others in the future, as well.

I am glad that the hitch was able to be installed. It sounds like that the side brackets were knocked out of alignment which is why the bolt holes are not lining up. This can happen while in transit to our facility or to you. We do have a great FAQ that provides ways to move the brackets back into alignment. I will let our shipping department know about the paint damage to the hitch. You have already done what I recommend by touching up the affected areas with a rust resistant paint.

Fit well on 2021 Kia Seltos LX. Packaging was torn and hitch was scratched up upon receiving. Painted it up and was fine. You don’t need to remove muffler to install as you can get hitch past muffler easy. I was a one guy install so held hitch in place by supporting each end with a bolt pushed in backwards at each end. I carefully used fish wire and did install. Everything lined up well and no real issues. Two people would be best.
The hitch installed as per the instructions. I was able to install it by myself but two people would make the job much easier. The hitch arrived on time with no problems. The hitch is mainly used to haul my bike rack.
Recieved in a very timely manner. Great communication. Only issue was rough handling by courier. Box was barely holding hitch in. Hitch needed to be in smaller box to prevent movement.
The fish wire stuff is PITA !

Absolutely great! No issues at all and still looking great. The paint is holding up wonderful even after several days on the beach driving around the outer banks. Great product
Could easily be 5 stars but they Could do a better job supporting it during shipping, it showed up hanging out of the box with very little to help it not bang around in the shipping box. They also packaged the Carriage bolt spacers separately from the rest of the hardware and hid it in the receiver. Long story short I ended up having to fish the bolts through twice, besides that the directions and hitch were a straight forward nice looking Fit that was built very well.
I would do business with them again
No issues so far. Works like it should. I'm happy with it.

still working fine
The install was effortless. Did not have to lower exhaust as suggested. Used one carriage bolt to hold up opposite end while I installed one carriage bolt on the other end. One person install. Simple. Approx. 45 to 50 minutes total. Very precise instructions. After the install, used it to pull a trailer to Oklahoma (1200 miles round trip) No problem. I would recommend it.

very satisfied with the product.
A decent "hitch"... intended only for bike racks or similar, NOT for towing. Works great for our ebike rack but is limited to only 300 lb vertical loading. A good buy if that's what you're looking for. Recommended for it's intended purpose.
This is the third trailer hitch that I have purchased from etrailer. They arrived promptly and the last one I ordered the wiring harness at the same time. They both were in the same package. Very convenient. They work great once installed. However they can be difficult to install. That is just the nature of the beast. All hardware nuts and bolts etc were included in package.
I installed this hitch myself and it took a little bit of time, but so far this hitch has been great for hauling a small trailer or boat. I would definitely recommend getting this hitch to anyone who's looking. I bout it for my 2022 Kia Seltos.
