Question:

Hey guys, I called Curt directly, and the tech guy said flat out their hitch does NOT fit cars with active exhaust. I was bummed, but after reading a review from a Nathan on a 2018 GT with AE but probably not magneride, or MR, Im wondering if the Draw-Tite would fit my car. Read his review and didnt quite understand the additional steps he needed to take to install the hitch, but he did install it, so I should be able to figure it out. I just wanted to make sure he didnt have to modify anything, so if one of you could contact him, and see if he wants to help, itd be great. Hoping I can fit the DT, and apparently its tucked up 1/2inch more than the Curt, so awesome. It only has 3 vs 4 attachment points, but it shouldnt be an issue with just 1K lbs our cars can handle. Thank you.

I can't confirm the fit of the # C11405 hitch on your GT model with Active Exhaust and Magneride. I also can't put to you in contact with a customer just because they posted a review. A Customer named Pete also installed this on a 2018 GT and stated he had to move the active valve performance exhaust and clips to the back of the sensor to attach it back to the frame. He said it was a minor adjustment but again don't know if there was magneride but likely so on that model. He said the install took about 60 minutes compared to the 40 minute estimate on a Mustang without the additional changes required.

The Draw-Tite # 24928 is also not a confirmed fit but with the reviews you may figure something out as these hitches attach in the exact same location and are very similar. You will need to use all attachment points for the rated capacity.
