Parts Needed to Install Curt Echo Brake Controller on 2016 Toyota RAV4 with 4-Way Connector

I recently purchased part#C57674 to adapt a 4-way trailer electrical plug to a 7-way plug and a 4-way plug. But I want to use the 7-way plug for the Curt Wireless Brake Controller part C51180. Will part #C57674 work with part C51180 or do I have to use part ETBC7L? Part ETBC7L is listed as the correct one to use with the Echo Wireless Brake Controller, but I didnt see that until now. Thanks for your reply.

We do recommend using the Upgrade Kit # ETBC7L to make your tow vehicle (2016 Toyota RAV4) 4-Way compatible with the Curt Echo # C51180. With that being said, the Curt Adapter # C57674 you picked up will actually work out great! You just need a few more pieces to finish up the ETBC7L kit:
20' of 12 Gauge Wire - # 12-1-1
40 Amp Circuit Breaker - # 9510
3/8" Ring Terminal - # DW05705-1
2 Count of the 3/16" Ring Terminal - # 44-5310A
3 Count of Self-Tapping Screw - # FA1131822
Zip Tires - # DW05726-25
This is everything you need for the ETBC7L wiring kit, which is ultimately everything you need for the Curt Echo.
